In addition to stock-themed meme tokens, tokenized stocks are increasingly being used in new token trading pairs. Among the top gainers in September were four Stock Meme projects, which accounted for around 67% of the total trading volume among the leading projects. EMBER and BREW, associated with token launch platforms, also ranked among the top ten new tokens.
MEXC's tokenized U.S. stock trading volume specifically rose 81% month over month, constituting about 66% of the increase in TradFi spot trading volume. Over half of the tokenized U.S. stocks saw trading volumes at least double, with the number in the top ten volume rankings rising from three to five. To enhance user engagement, MEXC conducted the xStocks Gala trading campaign in September, which attracted nearly 100,000 registrations and generated an average daily trading volume of over $3.4 billion. This initiative highlighted MEXC's strategy to combine popular assets with trading incentives to facilitate user participation in the tokenized stock market.
MEXC CEO Vugar Usi remarked on the evolving landscape, stating, "The convergence of stocks and crypto assets is changing how users participate in markets. A single market theme can drive trading activity in both tokenized U.S. stocks and on-chain new tokens. MEXC aims to provide users with the ability to capture cross-market trading opportunities on one platform."
