Stock Meme projects dominated the new-token market, with the top two positions in spot trading volume filled by these projects. The number of newly listed tokens on MEXC grew by 15% month over month, accompanied by a 27% increase in users trading new tokens. Among the top 10 new tokens by trading volume, seven made their debut on MEXC, reflecting the platform's focus on emerging assets. Notably, the projects 4STOCK and MEMEROBINHOOD accounted for approximately 38% of the combined trading volume of the top 10 new tokens, indicating strong interest in stock-related trading.
Tokenized stocks have also begun to serve as quote assets for new-token trading pairs, with four Stock Meme projects—MEMEROBINHOOD, SI, MOO, and 4STOCK—ranking among the 10 top gainers and collectively comprising about 67% of the total trading volume in that category. Other tokens linked to token launch platforms, such as EMBER and BREW, also featured among the top new tokens by trading volume.
In September, MEXC's tokenized U.S. stock trading volume represented about 66% of the increase in TradFi spot trading volume, with more than half of the tokenized U.S. stocks experiencing a doubling of their trading volumes. The roster of tokenized U.S. stocks in the top 10 by TradFi spot trading volume expanded from three in August to five in September, with MRVL and META entering the rankings, seeing increases of 212% and 152%, respectively.
September also marked the launch of Circle's own blockchain, Arc. On the same day, its launch platform token ARGUS was listed on MEXC and ranked among the top 10 new tokens by trading volume for the month. Furthermore, trading volume for tokenized U.S. stock CRCL rose by 103% month over month, securing its position as the fourth highest in TradFi spot trading volume.
To enhance user engagement, MEXC organized the xStocks Gala, a campaign focused on tokenized U.S. stock trading, attracting nearly 100,000 registrations and generating an average daily trading volume exceeding $3.4 billion during the campaign. This initiative aimed to reduce barriers to entry in the tokenized stock market.
