During the event, participants leveraged artificial intelligence (AI) to transform early concepts into functioning solutions. Teams showcased their projects, which were evaluated on technical excellence, customer impact, creativity, collaboration, and their capacity to advance digital banking. Each team presented a three-minute pitch to a panel of judges. Sundar Siva, Alkami's vice president of software engineering, emphasized the significance of teamwork and diverse backgrounds in fostering ambitious ideas.
The awards for notable projects included the Fusion Award, which recognizes diverse collaboration; this went to the "Card Compass" team for an AI tool aiding users in navigating card integrations. The Customer Delight Award was given to the "Insight Engine" team for their solution that provides personalized insights into financial health for better user guidance. The Fan Favorite Award, determined by audience vote, was awarded to the "Magnet: More Needles, Less Haystack" team, which improved data retrieval for support teams. Lastly, the TechFin Award, celebrating advancements in reliability and efficiency, was won by the "Integration Hub" team for their management solution for integrations.
