The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.7% for the week following the Federal Reserve's quarter-point interest rate hike, while the S&P 500 slightly declined by 0.1%. In contrast, the Nasdaq Composite gained 0.7% as investors returned to artificial intelligence-related stocks after an initial sell-off earlier in the week.
Looking ahead, Cramer identified Okta's analyst meeting on Wednesday as the most significant corporate event. He expressed admiration for CEO Todd McKinnon's insights shared during the recent Salesforce Dreamforce conference, where McKinnon discussed how Okta's identity-security technology could be utilized for AI agents, helping to track individual agents and potentially curb malicious activity.
Prior to Okta’s meeting, KB Home will report its earnings on Tuesday. Cramer expects that the results will reflect the ongoing challenges within the housing industry amid rising interest rates, similar to what was conveyed by Lennar last week. On Wednesday, uniform rental provider Cintas and payroll firm Paychex will also release their earnings. Cramer mentioned that both companies, with their strong ties to small and medium-sized businesses, should show positive momentum despite the tightening monetary policy.
General Mills is another company set to report on Wednesday; however, Cramer expressed caution due to escalating input costs and the impact of GLP-1 weight-loss medications, which may pressure processed food sales. He stated, "I can't recommend it."
On Thursday, Darden Restaurants is anticipated to report earnings, with Cramer believing that the parent company of Olive Garden could perform well due to solid execution. Nonetheless, he prefers Brinker International, the owner of Chili's, for its better growth potential. The week will wrap up with Costco's earnings report after the bell on Thursday; Cramer mentioned that he will be attentive to indications of the retailer's success in retaining younger members, noting that the Charitable Trust, managed by CNBC's Investing Club, holds shares in Costco.
