Essex Bank Appoints Christine Koster as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer

Before joining Essex Bank, Koster held positions at several financial institutions in Connecticut. Most recently, she served as Vice President Business Banking Officer-Commercial Lending at Westfield Bank, where she focused on expanding the commercial portfolio and developing marketing strategies.

Beyond her banking career, Koster has been actively involved in the community as president of Friends of Hammonasset (FOH) in Madison for nearly a decade. FOH aims to protect and enhance Hammonasset Beach State Park through environmental education. She has been a member of the Friends of Connecticut State Parks since 2013 and has been on the Board of Directors since 2017.

Koster enjoys spending time camping at Hammonasset Beach State Park with her husband. She has a rich history of camping experiences, having spent many summers on Fire Island and traveling across various regions of the United States. To date, she has visited forty-eight states and numerous national and state parks.
