For almost four decades, Global Finance’s annual rankings have set the standard for assessing financial counterparty safety. The winners were chosen based on an evaluation of long-term foreign currency ratings from the 500 largest banks globally, as rated by Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s, and Fitch.
