Wilkerson previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at the bank. His extensive experience also includes public accounting and service as the bank's Controller. "I’m most looking forward to transitioning into a more customer-focused role as Senior Lending Officer," Wilkerson stated. He emphasized that his background in public accounting, along with his roles as Controller and CFO, have equipped him with a solid foundation in accounting, finance, and risk management.

He expressed eagerness to apply this experience in direct customer engagement to better understand their objectives and challenges. "The best part about community banking is that it’s personal," Wilkerson remarked, highlighting the importance of knowing customers and being there to support them both in prosperous and challenging times.

FNB President and CEO Joey Hungerford praised Wilkerson's dedication to the bank's customers, employees, and the community. "His leadership, strong financial background, and genuine desire to help others make him an excellent fit for this role," Hungerford noted, adding that the bank looks forward to the positive impact Wilkerson will have on both customers and the loan team.
