The MarketVector framework is anchored by the MarketVector™ Investable Global Index (MVIGE), which covers more than 50 investable markets and aims to represent approximately 98% of the free-float market capitalization of eligible countries. From this base, four investable pillars have been established: the United States, Developed Markets excluding the United States, Investable Greater China, and Emerging Markets excluding Greater China.

Steven Schoenfeld, CEO of MarketVector Indexes, stated that the goal of global benchmarks is to empower investors to make informed allocation decisions, rather than to follow outdated concentration patterns. The new four-pillar structure addresses the limitations of traditional global equity indexing, particularly regarding the significance of the U.S. and China in global markets.

The MarketVector™ Investable US Index (MVIUS) offers dedicated exposure to the United States, reflecting its substantial influence in global equity portfolios. The MarketVector™ Investable Developed Markets ex-US Index (MVIDXUS) covers 25 developed markets outside the U.S., providing a more diverse set of investment opportunities. The MarketVector™ Investable Greater China Index (MVICHN) merges mainland China and Hong Kong into one investable category, acknowledging their economic and capital market interconnections. Additionally, the MarketVector™ Investable Emerging Markets ex-China Index (MVIEXCH) focuses on 22 emerging markets outside of Greater China, allowing investors to explore broader options without being dominated by China's market size.
